I'm solving some issues with balloons and marks but I'm pretty confident that I'll release a test version this weekend.

Hmm this is interesting. I just posted an entry about how to implement "named marks" which sound like the same sort of thing as your "bookmarks".
Ill be interested to see your implementation :) Got a release date planned?
